About Sistah Carrie
Carrie Harris, a steadfast advocate for the transformative power of faith-infused creativity, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University. With a remarkable 25-year journey dedicated to promoting the gospel through art and literature, her ministry focuses on character-building through seeking God’s face and nurturing a faithful prayer life. Blessed with the anointing of a seer and the ministry of helps, Carrie uses her gifts to fortify kingdom-focused individuals and ministries. As the publisher of a periodical newspaper magazine, A Type of Image, and the author of two additional self-published books, “If Your Character Stinks, Wash it Out with Soap” and “O My Father, If it Be Possible, Let this Cup Pass from Me: A Primer for Beginning Prayer Warriors,” Carrie is honored to produce evangelism tools that resonate across cultures and generations.
For over three decades as a member of the Upper Room Church of God in Christ, she’s been a vocal advocate for causes close to her heart, such as protecting the lives of the unborn, and breaking generational bondage in the lives of the vulnerable and the oppressed. Proudly calling Raleigh, North Carolina, home, Carrie is a mother, an author, an occasional graphic designer, and voice-over talent.
